Want to use the Aitum Vertical Plugin with your Stream Deck?

There are two easy ways to do this!


Set up with the Aitum App

  1. Get the Aitum app from our website

  2. Set up your OBS via Settings > Integrations

  3. Create a Rule to save your Backtrack

  4. On the Stream Deck app, use the “Trigger Rule” action from our Stream Deck plugin (search Aitum on the Stream Deck store)

  5. Done! When you press the Stream Deck button, your backtracks will save. Note: ensure your Backtrack is ready to save. This is indicated by the Backtrack button on the Vertical Plugin being highlighted in blue.

Set up with OBS Hotkeys

<aside> ➡️ Note: If you’re running OBS as an administrator, you need to also run the Stream Deck software as an administrator. This is due to how Windows handles permissions.

  1. Set a hotkey for Save Backtrack in the Aitum Vertical Plugin settings (highlighted in yellow)

  2. On the Stream Deck app, add a Hotkey action (usually found under the System category). Ensure this has the same hotkey as you set in OBS.

  3. In the Main OBS Settings, go to the Advanced page. At the bottom of the page is a section for Hotkeys. Ensure the Hotkey Focus Behaviour is set to Never Disable Hotkeys

  4. Done! When you press the Stream Deck button, your backtracks will save. Note: ensure your Backtrack is ready to save. This is indicated by the Backtrack button on the Vertical Plugin being highlighted in blue.
